On November 22nd another GCN ThinkTank on Legal Technology & Operations was organized. The interactive session provided tangible and practical examples of how General Counsel can create greater value for their business clients and reinforce the legal department’s position within the organization.
Topics covered included:

Anita Rustema, Group Global Data Protection Officer at Rabobank, shared her experience and best practices on setting up a Global Data Privacy framework. She discussed the risks and dilemmas and how a good strategy can create greater value for the business.
Marc Elshof, Partner Dentons Amsterdam and expert on Data and Privacy Law, discussed how using a robust Technology & Data Privacy Framework can reinforce the legal department’s position.
JoAnne Wakeford, Chief Client Officer at NextLaw In-House Solutions shared her thoughts on building brand and reputation for the law department and gave us some tips on how to leverage data and key metrics and showing efficiencies and demonstrating value.
