Huub Brinkman has over 10 years of experience in financial services and joined KPMG in 2015. Before joining KPMG he practiced law at an international law firm where he specialized in banking and finance law. He subsequently worked as senior legal counsel at a large Dutch financial institution focusing on internal investigations and related claims. Within KPMG Huub works in the Advisory practice with a focus on Regulatory Enforcement & Investigations.
Professional and Industry Experience
Huub has experience in both internal- and regulator initiated cross-border investigations and related matters such as claims, implementation of remedial actions/compliance measures, changes to the organizational structure and reputation management. Huub is experienced in dispute advisory services and large-scale (international) litigation. He assists global and mid-size clients in investigations following regulatory probes, potential compliance breaches or other Forensic distress matters.
